Web 2.0 allows us to teach more asynchronously Asynchronous teaching allows us to more easily differentiate for individual students.

Web 2.0 allows for multiple types of learners. Videos and charts for visual learners Organization for tactile learners Lots of resources for auditory learners

Web 2.0 enables collaboration Group projects in the classroom. No down time – The project never has to finish with Web 2.0.

Web 2.0 is a powerful tool for communication outside of school. Web 2.0 allows teachers to communicate more effectively and collaborate with parents. Web 2.0 gives teachers the bandwidth to start to bridge between the curriculum and the home.

Productive use of technology On their own students may interpret Web 2.0 to be more about games and posts with strange spellings on social web sites and not push themselves.
