SAVING A WORKBOOK FOLLOW THESE STEPS: Click on the MICROSOFT OFFICE BUTTON Click SAVE OR SAVE AS. The SAVE AS dialog box appears. Click the NEW FOLDER button in the SAVE AS dialog box. Type the name of the folder and press ENTER. In the file name textbox, type the name for your file. Click the SAVE button when done.

Saving a workbook in an earlier version: Follow these steps: Click the OFFICE BUTTON. Click the SAVE or SAVE AS button if it is already existing workbook. Choose the location where to save the file. In the Save as type list box, choose EXCEL 97-2003 workbook option. Click the SAVE button.

Saving a workbook to another file format: An Excel can also be opened as PDF, Web page , Rich text format, etc. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click the OFFICE BUTTON, then click SAVE AS. 2.In the SAVE AS type list box, click the file format. 3. Click the SAVE BUTTON.
