Some jobs that dogs can have are: They can be service dogs, Therapy dogs, Hearing dogs, Rescue dogs, Assistant dogs, Police work dogs, Research dogs, Sled dogs and Show dogs .

Therapy Dogs One time there was an elderly woman who hadn’t spoken for years, then they introduced her to a border collie and she began to speak again. This happened because border collies have been part of her life. These dogs work at nursing homes, special education programs, and juvenile care centers

Rescue dogs These dogs are supposed to find missing people. These dogs work for the Search and Rescues (SAR). They have specific skills like following a route taken by a certain person.

This is a hearing dog. These dogs help the deaf live a normal life. These dogs help their owner know that there is someone at the door, the smoke alarm is beeping, and that the telephone is ringing.

This is a service dog, they help people with disabilities.

This is an airport where some dogs work looking for any smuggled drugs.
