Social Studies Classroom Five hours of my seven-hour day is spent teaching in this classroom. I share my room one hour a day with the junior high English teacher.

Visual Interest A m e r i c a E u r o p e My family and I love to travel. So, we bring back pamphlets from the tourist sites to hang around my classroom. The students love to read them and ask questions about far away, and sometimes not so far away, places. I hope it entices them to explore the world someday!

Educational Reminders Core Democratic Values Daily assignments are written on the blackboard in the back of the room. Students write down their homework while I take attendance.

Student Work My colleagues and I display student work in the hall for everyone to see!

Teaching Technology I teach Technology 8 & 12 in the high school tech lab. I share the room with my colleagues. Last summer we redesigned the lab to enhance the teaching and learning experience. The room is also used for storing uniforms and school supplies for various clubs/classes. We are still waiting for the projector to be mounted!

Go Spartans! We are fortunate to have two computer labs in our small K-12 school. The high school lab has 30 computers. This is our wall of universities. Notice how the “S” stands out just a little more than the rest!
