A revolution in scanned based laser material processing

Slide 2

3 axis heads state of art SEI 3 axis head was designed in 1999 2007 over 630 systems installed It opened a way for many news laser applications Recently new developments in galvo motion allow a come back of 2 axis systems in some applications (RAM20 is SEI answer), Recently new 3 axis competitors Still remains the only one able to cover areas from 200---500 mm without optical changes Highlight: general purpose, medium small spot sizes at large marking areas, flexible and easy adaptable at serveral applications, interfacing and SW Disavantages: slow accelerations (deptails at high speed), spot size for cutting at 500-800 is not enough, burned points, etc.

Slide 3

Laser processing needs Cutting /half cutting / high deptail processing up to 800x800 marking areas High accuracy in laser energy distribution (no starting points, no localized burning or flame) Higher than state of art production capabilities Very easy to use and re-configure Fit in cost One year ago SEI taked decision to develop a brand new high aperture high speed 3 axis head:
