Minestra

We’re going to buy vegetables for soup. We call it Minestra.

We buy potatoes, cauliflower and pumpkin.

We also buy celery, carrots, onions and marrow.

We arrive back at school with our vegetables.

For Minestra we need: Vegetables

We also need : Dried beans and dried peas and small pasta

We chop the vegetables into tiny pieces.

We leave the pot to simmer for about an hour. Then we blend the soup and put in the pasta.
