Food They eat fish and shellfish. Viperfish are carnivores.

Predators The viper fish’s predators are the dolphin, shark and dragon fish.

Other Interesting Facts They swallow their food whole. Other fish can’t see their fang-like teeth in the dark. It can’t close its mouth. It lives to be 8 years old.
