Part 1: The foxes are coming!

One day there were two little rabbits called Cuddles and Bunny. They were in the garden playing when they heard their mother calling. She said she could see a fox coming to their home (which was a burrow). 

As the fox was about to come in one of the bunnies jumped out and hopped for his life. The fox ran after him and he was catching up fast! The other bunny said, "Run, I mean hop for your life. Hop! Hop! Hop!"

He hopped and hopped and hopped and eventually he got away. As the fox still wanted those bunnies, he went back to the burrow and then ran away again. The fox was really hungry by now so he found another burrow and the bunnies did the same thing as Cuddles and Bunny. They ran as fast as they could. 

But they weren’t fast enough ……….. TO BE CONTINUED

Part 2: The cunning fox

Cuddles and Bunny entered their burrow exhausted and panting. They waited for the fox to forget all about them. They hoped the fox would find other food to eat.

But fox didn´t forget about them. He was still very hungry. He quietly hid behind a tree and waited. He waited all day. He waited all night.

Eventually the bunnies were quite sure the fox had gone. Their mother told them to be careful because you can’t trust a fox. So the bunnies, Cuddles and Bunny sneaked out of their burrow, looked around and darted off into the field. Oh no! There was the fox! He came out, chased them, and ….. ate them for lunch. THE END
