People who we have been speaking with are quickly realizing that the upfront cost of a PC is only a fraction of the overall cost to own that PC. According to IDC, the 3 year TCO for each corporate PC totals over $ 4,500. With today’s PC’s costing as low as $ 600 and the fully loaded corporate PC being a little more than $ 1,300, the vast majority of the cost of owning a PC, the remaining $ 3,200 over three years, is the cost of keeping it up and running.
