Part 1: Ashley is ill

Ashley's eyes were glazed with a fever, making her shiver and tremble so violently that her bed started rocking. "Mom!" she called in a croaky voice, " come quickly. I think I am going to...” She groaned and closed her eyes.

  Part 2: The surprise

  Much later….. "Waa waa waa!" The baby cried as it entered the outside world. “Aww, he has your eyes, and your big nose!" Ashley's mom said. "I don't care what he looks like, I only care that he is mine to love and care for," I told everyone gathered around my hospital bed. Which included mom, sister and the nurse.  "What are you going to name him?" Ashley's sister asked. "beau."  "What does the name Beau mean, is it French?" "Yes it means beautiful in French," I said. Everyone including the nurse said, "he is very beautiful!"

The group left the hospital the following day. It was  also the beginning of fall. On the way home the group stopped by a local grocery store, to pick up the necessities. Food, baby clothes, diapers and a soother.

When they reached the apartment, it was nearing midnight, Ashley was in deep conversation with her sister about how great the baby is going to be . Her mom wasn't interested, in the conversation, all she cared about was how she would wake up in the morning for her 6 am job. Her mom walked in first. It was pitch black and an empty feeling whisked past her. She reached for the light on the right side of the wall, and flicked it on. Her face went pale, her body cold. 

"Ahhhhh! What happened," Her mom screamed.  "We have been robbed," Ashley exclaimed. The scene was ugly, Curtains ripped, lamps smashed, and the T.V fuzzing. Worst of all, Beau was crying the whole time. The couch was still intact so Ashley placed Beau down to relax. Her mom and sister looked around the house to evaluate the damages. Meanwhile Ashley fed and changed Beau's clothes

"Who would do such a thing?" Her mom asked. From the corner of her eye they saw a black figure next to the door. Ashley screamed and everyone was staring at the same figure.  

As he turned the door knob, Beau flew onto the man's back. shreaking some type of battle cry. The man was shocked by the fact a baby had attacked him. Beau spinned around the man like a vortex, until he was tied up and on the floor crying. (Elliott from Canada. 

Part 3: The hero

The mom was impressed  when she saw how strong Beau was. She called the police as fast as she could. The mom was so tired that she went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. She put Beau to Sleep for Ashley. As soon as she put Beau to sleep, the police knocked the door. Ashley opened the door, and the police saw the robber and recognized him as a wanted assassinator. The police congratulated the mother. Beau was a hero. THE END
