PART ONE: THE TEMPTATION
"Buy just one loaf of bread!" mom said. But when I went inside the bakery and smelled my favourite donuts, I knew I was in big trouble. I checked my pockets for extra money... . I didn't have enough for donuts so I said to myself, "I'm sure mom won't mind if I buy the bread later! I will buy some donuts instead!“I bought my favourite kind and off I went eating my donut.
When I got home my mom asked where the bread was. "I smelled my best donuts in the world the shop!" I said. “And I couldn't resist them! So I bought those instead!”
“I am very cross with you!” said her mother. “You will have to go to school with no sandwiches tomorrow!” “But,” I said. “BBBBB BUT I really wanted the donuts.” .
“Sorry, tomorrow you have to go to go to school with no lunch and you are grounded for two months.” “But I had plans..” “Well the plans will have to wait”
CHAPTER 2: I LEARN MY LESSON
The two months were long and boring. All my friends went to parties . But I had to stay at home all the day. It was horrible. I thought about that donut. On the one hand that donut was delicious, but on the other hand that donut was a temptation . My mother was extremely angry, every time I talked to her she looked at me with a disappointed face and answered me with a soft voice. Now she didn't ask me to go and buy bread, she didn't trust me. My marks at school were marvellous as I studied all day with nothing else to do. My mother was happier, but I wasn’t.
The two months had passed, and now I could go where I wanted to at last. My mother was still angry with me deep down, though. On one of those normal days she asked me to go and buy some bread. While I was going to the baker's I walked past the store of donuts. I smelled my favourite donut, but this time I was very careful. I checked my pocket and guess what?. My mother had given me enough money for a donut and the bread. My sweet mother!
Just in case I made a mistake and didn’t have enough money I went to buy the bread first and then I went to buy the donut. When I got home, my mother smiled at me and she continued washing the dishes. We were all happy, my mother had the bread, and I had my favourite donut. THE END
