Twinterview Emily Asks Her Tweeps About Twitter

Slide 2

http://www.10e20.com/blog/2008/06/18/twitter-ultimate-time-waster-or-great-tool/ This completely unscientific survey was inspired by a presentation given by Chris Winfield. His Presentation is available here: As I prepared to teach an upcoming series of Twitter workshops for librarians in August of 2009, I put together a short set of Questions about Twitter and Tweeted them to my followers. What better way to get feedback about Twitter’s usefulness than by asking the users themselves? The following slides include the responses to my questions. Thank you to everyone who responded and helped me wrap my head around Twitter a little bit better. What’s This??

Notes As a courtesy to those who did not want to respond publicly, DMs I received in response to these Questions have not been included here. Thanks to those folks, though, for giving me further insight. This experiment was done very informally and quickly. I’d like to do a more structured version of this sometime, perhaps appealing to a wider audience. Anyone who wants to do this before I get around to it is welcome. I’d love to know the results.
