Part 1: Two mischievous children

One day a little boy and girl were feeling like being mischievous. They waited until their house maid fell asleep. As soon as she was asleep they locked the door to the room where she was and ran outside.

They sneaked out of their room and went to the haunted house which was down the road. They were so silly - they did not bring a single torch or light with them. They went into the haunted house and there they heard two ghosts in the house. Their names were Bob and Pop. They did not make themselves seen to the little boy and girl. Eventually the little boy was convinced that he had heard the two ghosts. The children were very frightened.

They ran downstairs and sped out of the door and down the driveway at lightning speed. They ran home.

Their house maid had now woken up and had managed to open the locked door. She heard them at the door and let them in. She noticed they were as white as ghosts.  "What happened? she asked.   

Part 2: The haunted house

The children, did not have even a bit of air, so they waited, and made their maid understand that they were very tired. They questioned themselves, should they tell their maid the truth... But if they would, the maid would tell their parents, and their parents would punish them. What should they do? That night the naughty children could not fall asleep. They turned around in bed and stared at the ceiling. They were simply confused.

Time went by. They kept on thinking what to do but they  fall asleep...  When they woke up. they knew what they had to do. They told the maid the story about what had happened. " I have a friend that has seen two dangerous ghosts...“ The maid said , " Oh you two silly kids, stop fooling around and clean up that mess you made in your bedrooms. What happened yesterday was hard to believe. “ What should they do? They kept on questioning themselves!

That night the children couldn't sleep again because of the same reason as the night before , but they didn't want to tell the maid about this because she would say they were inventing stories, and they were NOT. That was one hundred percent true, these children weren't crazy. They started thinking in their beds and all of a sudden they fell asleep. 

Some hours later they woke up because they had just had a terrible dream. These children were furious because they wanted to sleep so they decided to tell the maid, first the maid told them they were crazy, as they had thought , but then when she went  with the children to the haunted house she changed her mind. She had seen the ghosts!. What happened to the maid after that?  The maid told the parents and the children did not get in to trouble. The maid ran away two days later. THE END
