The Sweet Girl by Nalrag (in South Africa) and Juan, Santiago.G and Segundo.R (in Argentina) A two-nation collaborative story

Once there was a young girl who lived in a sweet cottage in the middle of a green meadow. Her gran lived with her. Her gran was sickly so each day she went to get some fruit and vegetables for her.

One day she went shopping for supper and she bought bread and soup. She went home and cooked supper and they ate and ate She noticed that her gran was growing fatter and fatter . She was getting better at last. But she was still very demanding

One day...the young girl decided to buy her another type of food because she saw that her gran was becoming fatter and fatter and better and better. She started buying her junk food. She didn´t see any change in her gran. But then after a while she realized that now her gran was becoming  fatter and  sicker than before. Instead of becoming better and thinner she became sicker and fatter, but now she became fatter than what she used to be.

One day Gran got very sick. The young girl phoned a doctor and he said that the fruit and vegetables that she had eaten weren't washed properly so the food had some toxic things that made her become very fat. It also made her ill. The toxic things would make her  fatter than what she was and she would feel sicker than before.  The doctor recommended her to wash the fruit and vegetables she ate and NOT to eat junk food any more.

The next day the young girl bought fruit and vegetables at the market. When she came back the girl washed the fruits and started giving the fruits to her gran. One week later the young girl's gran started feeling much better and lost all the extra weight she had gained during the past few days. Then the young girl took her gran to the doctor to see how she was doing. The doctor said that she was in good shape and that she didn't have any more fever. She stopped being so demanding as well. So the young girl was very happy. She decided that she didn’t really mind looking after her gran after all and they both lived happily ever after.  THE END
