Welcome to Kepler College, where our innovative online program helps you to fullfil your passion for learning.

Slide 2

Kepler College has been given authorization to grant degrees by the Higher Education coordinating Board of Washington.

Slide 3

Kepler’s liberal studies program includes the examination of cultural cosmologies, many of which go by the name astrology.

Slide 4

Our students have made history by attending the first college in the United States authorized to grant degrees that include a detailed exploration of the cultural application of cosmology to human concerns

Slide 5

All courses at Kepler are presented online - this means students can join us from anywhere with an internet connection. In addition to their computer, students will need a webcam and computer microphone.

Slide 7

Our 5-day symposia conferences are held once per year. They are not required but we highly encourage students to attend so they can meet and work with fellow students and their faculty.

Slide 8

Students meet with just Kepler faculty and family (alumni are invited) on Thursday and Monday.

Slide 9

They have a chance to interact and get to know each other

Slide 10

We ask all students to attend in-person at least once during their time at Kepler College. If the student lives overseas or finds it a hardship to travel, they can arrange to interact at the symposium via the Internet.

Slide 11

Students earn one credit for every symposium they attend.

Slide 12

The public is invited from Friday through Sunday where speakers are featured from the Kepler familiy and include respected academics and astrologers.

Slide 13

Lectures offered during the public conference are streamed via the Internet to attendees who cannot be there in person.

Slide 15

All students take the same courses during the AA program and the first two years of the BA program. Students transferring from other colleges will be able to apply some general education credits toward their Kepler College degree. Students who have prior astrological knowledge may be able to take a challenge test for 201, 202H or 202V.

Slide 17

The BA program grants a general Bachelor of Arts degree. Students customize their degree by choosing a specific major and possibly a minor.

Slide 18

Our Bachelor of Arts program has three majors and several minors to choose from.

Slide 19

As student enrollment grows, more majors will be offered, initially based on the minors we already provide.

Slide 21

Students graduating with an East-West major or minor can enter the MA program directly. Other students will have to complete some pre-requisites based on their educational background.

Slide 22

All students have access to the Marion March Electronic Library. Early English Books Online gives students includes complete access to the works of classical authors, including astrologers William Lilly, Gadbury, Ramsey and many more.

Slide 23

Students also have access to JSTOR with full text articles from over 200 scholarly journals of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Slide 24

We have an exciting selection of courses available, both for-credit in our degree and certificate program and not-for-credit.

Slide 25

If you are not interested in a degree, you can enroll in our Cultural Cosmologies Certificate Program. If you later decide to earn your degree, you can apply the certificate credits you have already earned.

Slide 26

Besides individual course certificate, there are four program certificates starting this spring.

Slide 27

If you love learning, but do not need college credits, you can enroll as an audit student for one-half the cost of our regular tuition.

Slide 28

Another alternative is to take classes at our Community Learning Center. Here each course is individually priced by the instructor. For example, you can take ES174, an intensive 8-week course introducing astrological symbolism and practice, for only $225

Slide 29

There are a variety of other courses available. For more information visit www.keplerclc.org

Kepler is indebted to the Founder’s Circle for without their contributions, we could never have met the State’s financial requirements to open. They also ensured that we had sufficient operating funds for the first two years.

Slide 53

Mark Douglas contributed property and toward the Founder’s circle. In 2004 he became the first member of the Heritage Cosmos Society. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees and granted the Purple Angle Scholarships. In 2009, the Board of Trustees voted to grant him the title of Distinguished Fellowship for his contributions and service for Kepler College. The Nico and Marion March Family Trust donated $100,000 toward fulfilling our financial reserve requirement with the State of Washington. Over the years, they have donated additional monies and books. Marion and Nico’s son, Nico March, was the Chair of the Board of Trustees for three years from 2003-2006.
