While I was researching my topic, I found out that the most popular genre read in America is science fiction. Fifty-one percent of the people in America rate science fiction as their favorite genre. When I interviewed Linn Prentis (a science fiction editor) she said that when authors write their science fiction books, they make some things up, but they do have to put real information in the book that they’re writing.
