Part 2: A surprising turn of events

Slide 6

The bear was exhausted so he decided to grab a butterfly net from the house of the forest ranger that lived right down the hill. When he approached  the forest ranger`s house  and peeped through the window, saw that the forest ranger was asleep. The bear spotted a net beside the kitchen table right next to the forest ranger`s head. He slowly entered the house on tiptoes and when he was inside, he  tried to reach out for the butterfly net but he couldn`t because his arms were too short. So he decided to ask his friends for help to get the net.The animals were very surprised because the bears were rude and never followed butterfies. His friends laughed at him and went away. The bear was very sad because, if he woke  the forest ranger up, he would shoot at him with a sleeping dart and he didn`t want this to happen. He was very worried because he really wanted to get that butterfly.

Slide 7

He peeped again from the forest ranger`s window and he saw that he was awake. He was going to take a bath. The bear took advantage of this situation to get into the house and try to get the butterfly net. But he couldn`t because he wan’t fast enough, and when he got into the house, the forest ranger finished his bath and was opening the door. The bear quickly  went out of the house through the front door. He was very upset. He looked at the rock where the butterfly was. She was still sitting there, quiet and calm as if she was waiting for the bear to catch her.Her colours were the most beautiful combination ever seen. The  pink, violet, green and yellow of her wings shined with the light of the sun.She was so beautiful!

Slide 8

The bear saw the forest ranger coming out through the front door of his house with a backpack. He saw that the forest ranger dropped a round-shaped hat on the floor. He waited for he forest ranger to go and got the hat that the forest rangerhad dropped. It was strange for him though it helped to catch the lovely butterfly. The door of the forest ranger's house was locked and the window was closed so he didn't have any other alternative Then catching the wonderful butterfly.

Slide 9

He went slowly to the rock where the butterfly was standing, and posed the hat over her. He heard that the butterfly was crying so he lifted the hat and asked" What happens little butterfly?“ " I don`t have any friends and I thought you would like to be my friend" said the butterfly crying. "I am sorry,“ said the bear"You are so beautiful that I thought you were going to be my friend, but you flew away so I wanted to catch you“ They both apologised to each other and became  best of friends.

Slide 10

They played together every day. Then, one day while they were playing  the bear bumped into the forest ranger. The forest ranger shot a sleeping dart to the bear and decided that he should take the bear to the circus. The butterfly was very upset.

Slide 11

When the bear woke up he saw the lions in the other cage and got really scared. “Who are you?“ he asked “We are Tom and John, the two lions of this circus,“ said one of them. “OK, but I’m not from the circus and I want to go home. Poor butterfly must be very  worried.“ They helped bear escape and he raced back to his field. Butterfly ws very happy to see him again. THE END
