The Case of the Missing Statue Part 1 by Camped, and Danvan in South Africa Part 2 by Francisco B, Martin P, and Joaquim om Argentina A two-nation collaborative story
Part 1: The statue goes missing
It was pretty clear to my partner and me that that the statue was missing. But the costume ball being held at the museum was not going to make identifying suspects very easy. In this case we had to bring our identifier along. This identifier had the finger prints pictures of every single person in the whole city.
On the night of the ball I had to dress as Zoro. It was not a pretty sight. Zoro is a weird, no wait, a very weird ugly guy. Everybody calls him Zoro but his real name is Bob. Bob had been badly scarred in an accident. I dressed up like this character. We had to find the statue.
Part 2: The mystery deepens
I took off my costume and went to the museum to see the place where the missing statue had once stood. At first it was very strange but as time went by, I was there standing taking photos and watching all the people go by. After a while I saw one man with a gun in his pocket. I didn't say anything. This man was tall. He had mysterious eyes and an oval-shaped face. As from the moment that I saw him, I stood quietly and I was afraid of him. He was a suspect. I decided to call the police and told them what has happening.
Some minutes later, the police went into the museum (they were waiting outside) and questioned this man. This man’s name was Kevin. He said that he didn't do anything and that he was just standing there to see what was going on. The police asked him why he had a gun in his pocket. Kevin told them that he was always ready in case anything happened to him. The police believed him so they let him go.
After a while another man came, called Henry. He had a strange look and a naughty smile in his face. I observed him for a while. He didn’t seem to notice me standing there. To my amazement he put back the statue and then walked out. I notified the police immediately and they stopped him outside and took him to the police station for questioning. As it turned out the statue he put back was not the real one. Our search was not over. THE END
