Part 1: Meet Peter Pan

Slide 3

One day a fairy named Tinkerbell was flying around Kensington Gardens where lots of fairies lived, including Peter Pan. You might be wondering how Peter Pan got there? You are? OK. I'll start from the very beginning.

Slide 4

On the very day Peter Pan was born he ran away. You might be thinking, "What a silly thing to do!" But not at all, and I think I'll let Peter Pan take over from here.

Slide 5

"OK. This is Peter Pan speaking. As you know I ran away for a very good reason, because my parents were talking about what I was going to be when I was all grown up.  I don't want to grow up. I won't grow up. I want to stay a little boy for ever and ever and ever. Then, after making that decision, I entered the nursery window and that's where the action began. Tink! Tink! Where are you? Have you found where they put my shadow?  Tinkerbell, come out at once! Oh there you are in that big box. HURRAY! I found my shadow. How clever I am!!! By the way, do you know where I am? I am now in the  nursery of the Darling family's children. You see, a few nights ago I lost my shadow and am back here now to find it. AHHHH I found some soapy, gluey thing and I tried to stick it on, but of course it didn't work and  I started to cry . It was the first time something did not go my way and I was very upset. Then a girl I think whose name was Wendy got out of bed and helped me by sewing it back on. This worked very well but then she asked me where my mother was. I don't know what a mother is. She said that a mother is someone who reads you stories and puts you to bed. So I told her.....

Part 2: We are off to Neverland!

Slide 7

….that this was absolutely ridiculous, parents only tell you things about what you are going to do when you're a grown up, I won't grow up in my entire life! She suddenly asked me where  I lived and if I had parents, so I replied "second to the right and straight on till morning".  She started laughing so I woke her brothers John and Michael up   by throwing some of Tinker Bell's powder over their heads. Suddenly, Tinkle Bell's magic made an effect. They were strange, as if they had never  flown before.  They were screaming and laughing.  Have you ever seen a boy who didn't know how to fly?  Not me, but well, I think I can teach them. So I told them to think of a wonder full thought  and gave them a little bit of pixie dust from Tink. The only problem was that Tink did not like Wendy all that much and kept on saying “You silly ass, Tink.” “Don’t be so rude!”  I told her . “Wendy  come and let’s go!” and off to Neverland we went.

Slide 8

We were on the cloud just above Never land when Captain Hook saw me and he wanted to fight. He threw bombs at me. “Tink, take Wendy and her brothers to my hideout where the lost boys are,” I shouted.

Slide 9

Well, if you want to know what happened after that you will have to read the book! THE END
