Jenny Part 1 by Hanfir in South Africa Part 2 by Amanda Machuk in Canada Part 3 by Benja, Marki and Joaco from Argentina A three-nation collaborative story
Part 1: Where is Jenny?
One day I went to my best friend Jenny's house, but Jenny was nowhere to be seen. The door to her house was open. I searched everywhere, So I left a note on her door...
So I went back to my house. When I got there Jenny was at my house, sitting on the step fidgeting with grass. She seemed really scared and the only thing I could think about was what in the world was she doing on my porch. When she saw me she came running and put her arms around me and started crying. I asked why she was crying and she said "After school I walked home and when I got there the door was open. I didn't think much of it but when I stepped in the door, I heard banging and crashing and a very stern low voice of a man that I couldn't make out. Then I heard a gun shot and a women scream at the top of her lungs. I ran as fast as I could down the street, turned at Red Ridge Road then ran all the way to your house, Molly. This weird man was following me with a camera.“
Part 2: Who is following us?
But before I could say anything there was a rustle in the bushes next to my house. We both screamed. We saw the man that Jenny had described in the story. He was stepping closer and closer to us. But then there was the sound of “Cut!" This is what the director of a movie says when a scene is over.
We were so confused. The guy that Jenny described in the story introduced himself. His name was Tom. He had dark brown hair that was as dark as his eyes, and he looked about 21 years old. Then the director stepped out from behind the bushes and he introduced himself. His name was Paul he had orange curly hair and dark brown eyes. He looked about 47 years old. Paul explained as follows. “Your moms and dads have signed you up for a contest. We set up a scene that you think is real and then we pick the best Scene, and we make a new T.V. series with you in it. You guys have won."
The first thing Jenny and I did was scream with excitement. Then we jumped up and down and danced all around. Both of our moms and dads came to fetch us and took us home, and Jenny and I had a sleepover. In the morning we got dressed and ate breakfast. We brushed our hair and brushed our teeth. Then, to our surprise, we got picked up in a Limo and it had all the candy in the world in it. You could eat in there and when we got to the studio we started shooting the first scene. They called the series "The Good Old Days."
Part 3: Fame and fortune
Six years later........Jenny is 23 years old and she is a big time movie star. She dyed her blonde hair black, and she lives in a huge mansion that has ten floors. As for Molly, she is 24 years old. She got dismissed from the "Good Old Days" T.V. series and she now works at Bob's coffee shop. Jenny and Molly don't talk any more. Actually they haven't been in touch in five years. One day Jenny came to Bob's coffee shop and Molly said “Hi." But Jenny looked at her and just ignored her. She had become a snob!
A few months later, in the New York City Times, Molly was reading the news and she saw that something terrible had happened to Jenny. The first thing Molly did was go and see Jenny. When Molly got there Jenny wouldn't let her in. But Molly wouldn't rest till She had helped her old friend. But that is another story for another day! THE END
