Part 1: The camping trip

Tom and Clare, a brother and sister, were sitting at their house. Tom suggested to Claire that they  go outside after the rain stopped. As they  walked on the wet grass they could hear the soft squishing noise of the grass underfoot. The sun finally emerged from behind the clouds when it suddenly dawned on them that they had to go on a camping trip with their parents the next day. Panic set in as they realized that they were completely unprepared and they hadn’t packed.   

  "We need too many things on the camping trip,"  Tom exclaimed. "I agree, but don't forget about the compass," pointed out Clare.  They had been preparing the whole morning and were ready to leave. Tom and Clare decided to watch the Local News before the family departed.  "We interrupt this program to bring you a late breaking story!" exclaimed the tv announcer witch almost gave Tom an heart attack."   "Now what, a bear stole a car! " said Clare with sarcasim.  "Today there is a 95  percent chance of a Tornado hitting so we suggest no activities and anyone going camping should evacuate  the area immediately, " said the TV announcer looking happy to have a story on the TV. "Now you can return to your show".

Part 2: A change of plan

They were in shock, fear, surprise, anger, envy, rage, and all those other emotions.  “Our trip it's ruined! What will we do now? We had so much planned now what, stay home and play an old puzzle" Tom hissed with anger and frustration"  "You’re right! We have trained for so long and we planned things to do and now they are ruined, all of it is  ruined" hissed Clare with as much anger as Tom.  "The worst part is that the we won't be able to go tommrow sice the place is badly damaged" pointed out their dad.

They had visions of a lovely camping trip, and now that would not happen after all.

For the rest of the day they slept, read watched TV, and felt miserable as the rain poured down hard on the roof of the house. Tom decided to call his friend Jack over to make this day more Exciting instead of boring. The rain as it hit on the roof was like Pitter patter of an army of little hamsters. Tom waited for a really long time as he waited for Jack to knock on the door. The time seemed to slow down and it seemed like Jack would never get here.  Finally Jack got to Tom's house. "Hello Tom sorry I am late because the rain was so hard and destructive!“ exclaimed Jack, covered in water.

"Hey what's in the bag? " asked Tom curiously.  "Oh just my lunch and a couple other things," answered Jack." So what do you want to do?"  "I don't know" replied Tom. Then without warning there  was the loudest thunder they had ever heard in their lives and then the power went out with a loud shudder that felt like it shook the very earth itself.

Part 3: The terrible storm

Suddenly, the roof started falling.  They all escaped from the house.  The second after  they had escaped, the house went down.  They didn`t know how to explain all this and just kept running in the pouring rain.  

The rain was very intense.  Suddenly a bolt of lightning fell 100 meters away from them.  They were all very scared so they started running even faster.  They heard their neighbours shouting.  They were scared too and started running with them. It was a very frightening experience.     

When they stopped running, they found themselves in the middle of the woods.  They were desperate and they didn't know what to do. The rain had stopped but now they were surrounded by strange characters and creatures.
