Slide 5

What Happens if you get in a Black Hole Scientists aren't so sure but there are two beliefs. Number 1: You will get stretched to infinity. Number 2: You will come out a white hole in a different universe. Back to Black Holes

Slide 6

How a Black Hole is Formed Imagine the universe is on top a floor of rubber. A star has imploded( the sun could never turn into a black hole because it is to small). And it has turned into a tiny hole but the hole weighs about five times bigger then a star. So the rubber has bent so far and the gravity is so strong that not even light can escape. Slide 11

Earth Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun Earth is the only planet that has been discovered that has life on it Scientist say it is very likely to have life on it. Back to Contents

Earth’s moon The Moon takes 27.3 days to orbit the earth The first manned mission to the moon is Apollo11 from the U.S.A Back to Earth’s Moon

Slide 19

Phases of the moon The moon looks different every night but it is not. It looks different because the Sun light up different parts of it. The new moon is when the moon is black A full moon is when you can see the whole moon Back to Earth’s Moon

Slide 22

I have learned all the planets in our Solar System How the Black Hole’s gravity is so strong Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon

LI: I can use the Hats to describe Space Travel SC: I have thought carefully about things I have learned and added them to the appropriate hat. That there Is no way To know What is Inside the Black Hole Name: ______________ We could send a Robot controlled Ship to Venus It is likely to be that space Has another planet with Life on it
